Why EPUB chapters play in the wrong order
If EPUB chapters play in the wrong order in TGRadio, check the reading sequence stored inside the file. Import follows the spine order, while the visible contents list may arrange its links differently. Compare contents navigation with continuous reading first, then correct an editable source outside TGRadio.
Record the first incorrect transition
Find the first transition that seems wrong. Note the preceding chapter, the chapter that follows, and their opening sentences. This separates misplaced text from an incorrect label. If chapter two is followed by the actual text of chapter three under a different number, the label may be the problem.
For example, Departure should lead to The Journey, but The Return appears instead. Compare the contents of those chapters rather than trusting their numbers alone. Keep the original EPUB separately so you can compare it with a revised copy.
Navigate through the book in two ways
In an ebook reader, open the relevant chapter through the contents list. Then return to the preceding chapter and move forward through the pages to the same point. Compare the text reached by each route. Working contents links do not establish that continuous reading follows the intended sequence.
If the contents link works but page-by-page reading jumps elsewhere, inspect the internal reading order. If both routes fail in the same way, check the chapter text too. Readers can handle damaged files differently, so this comparison provides evidence rather than a guarantee.
Inspect the EPUB spine order
An EPUB contains internal text documents. Its spine specifies their reading sequence, while a separate contents structure provides navigation links. These structures can disagree. Filenames such as chapter01 and chapter02 do not, by themselves, decide which document is read first.
If you can edit the book, open a copy in an EPUB editor outside TGRadio and find the document reading-order controls. Identify disputed documents by their opening paragraphs. Avoid sorting everything alphabetically: introductions, parts, and appendices may use different naming conventions.
Save a revision and check both routes
Arrange the documents using the editor and save a new EPUB copy. Reopen it in a reader, pass through the problem transition continuously, and check the contents links separately. Correcting one structure does not establish that the other is correct.
Inspect neighbouring transitions and the end of the book as well. If one document contains several chapters, moving that entire document cannot fix their internal sequence. You may need to edit its text or structure. If you cannot edit the source, request a corrected file from its source.
Check the new import before extended listening
Import the revised EPUB into TGRadio and compare its chapter sequence with your notes. Editing the file on your computer does not update an existing import. TGRadio has no built-in editor for rearranging chapters or rebuilding EPUB files.
Choose a voice and press Play to prepare audio for a listening check. Inspect the disputed chapter and its next transition. Changing the voice or playback speed will not repair text order. Keep the original library entry until you have checked the replacement.
