How to turn a book webpage into spoken audio

To turn a book webpage into spoken audio, use Import URL with a public page containing the text itself. After importing, check which part of the work was extracted. TGRadio does not promise to follow links through every chapter or page. A contents page or description may not contain the complete book.

Find the page containing the actual text

Before importing, check what the address provides: the complete work, one chapter, a description, or a contents page. If it only lists linked sections, open the text you need first. Importing the contents address does not automatically collect every linked item.

For example, a page titled Chapter 4 may contain only that chapter, even with Previous and Next buttons beside it. Find the beginning and end of the available text and compare them with what you intend to hear.

Check access without signing in

Open the page in a private browser window without signing into the source website. If the text requires login, payment, or permission, importing may fail. Access available in your normal browser window is not passed to TGRadio with the address.

Also check that the content is text rather than page images. Try selecting and copying a short paragraph. This does not guarantee successful import, but it helps identify scans: TGRadio does not provide image recognition or OCR.

Import and check the text boundaries

After signing into TGRadio, open Books, choose Import URL, and enter the page address. Check the opening, available headings, and end of the extracted text. Confirm that you received the intended passage before starting narration.

If the result contains a description, navigation, or incomplete text, inspect the source page again. Being able to read it manually does not guarantee correct extraction. Adding the same address again does not repair the page structure or supply missing sections.

Choose how to handle separate chapters

When chapters have separate addresses, do not assume importing one will collect the others. Add the public pages individually or use a complete book file offered by the source. A direct file link is more useful than a listing containing only publication details.

You can also prepare one text file outside TGRadio if you have the right to use the material. Remove unwanted content and check chapter order in your own editor. TGRadio has no built-in editor; TXT import recognizes separate Chapter, Part, Глава, or Часть lines with a number or title.

Listen to the opening and chapter transitions

After checking the import, select the book and voice and press Play. This starts audio preparation; later fragments are prepared as you listen. Adding the link alone may have extracted only text, so do not wait for audio before pressing Play.

Check the opening and transitions between parts. If you hear menu items, repetitions, or missing sentences, fix the source text outside TGRadio or choose a more suitable source. Changing the voice cannot restore content absent from the import.
