Book link requires a login: why the import fails
If a book link requires a login, TGRadio may be unable to retrieve its text. A page opening in your browser does not establish access for the service: your browser remembers your signed-in session, while the importer does not use it. The next step depends on whether the text is public or you have a file you are entitled to use.
Test the link without your signed-in session
Open the same link in a private browser window where you have not signed in to the book website. A login form, access offer, or description without the book text can explain an import failure. TGRadio needs an accessible page containing text or the book file itself.
For example, your regular tab might show a chapter while the private window shows only a cover and a sign-in button. Copying the address from the regular tab does not transfer your access. Also check that you copied the book address rather than your account page.
Keep the other website’s login details out of the import
A website may recognise you through cookies, which store information about your browser session. Those details are not included in an ordinary link. Signing in again in another tab therefore usually does not resolve this access restriction.
Do not paste passwords, verification codes, or cookie contents into the link field. TGRadio has no documented feature for connecting an authenticated session from another website to read a protected book. Signing in through Telegram identifies your TGRadio profile; it does not give the service access to your other accounts.
Obtain a file through an authorised route
If the source offers a download and you have the right to use the book, save the file to your device. Supported options are EPUB, FB2, TXT, and PDF with a text layer, up to 10 MB. Permission to read on a website does not necessarily include a downloadable edition.
If no download is available, check whether the rights holder offers a suitable file through another route. Do not try to remove protection or bypass authentication to collect private chapters. Choose a copy that is available to you and that you are entitled to use.
Upload the file and start audio preparation
In TGRadio, open Books, select Upload a book, and choose your saved file. Wait for import processing, then open the book, choose a voice, and press Play. Importing extracts the text; audio preparation starts when you start playback.
If the file upload also fails, check the file’s format, size, and text content. For a PDF, try selecting and copying a sentence in a viewer. A page containing only an image will not become readable text simply because you switch from link import to file upload.
Check how much of the book was imported
A public page may contain only a sample or a single chapter. Successfully importing that address does not establish that the entire book was retrieved. Compare the beginning, available sections, and ending with the source.
Chapter navigation and pagination do not mean TGRadio will automatically visit every page. For example, if the address opens chapter one and later chapters require separate navigation, check the imported text’s extent. If it is incomplete, use an authorised complete file when one is available.
