How to switch audiobook chapters in TGRadio
To switch audiobook chapters, open the chapter list for your selected book, choose a section, and press Play. Use the previous or next chapter control when you only need a neighboring section. Check the title and opening sentences after moving: an imported book may be divided differently from another edition or a printed copy.
Choose a chapter from the list
Open the relevant book in Books, review its chapter names, and select the entry you need. The list is useful for moving a long way through a book because you can inspect the available structure instead of stepping through every section.
For example, if you need Part Three, look for that heading rather than automatically choosing the third entry. A preface or other introductory sections may come first. An entry's position in the list does not necessarily match the chapter number printed in the text.
Use neighboring chapters for larger moves
The previous and next chapter controls are useful when you know the passage is in an adjacent section. Check the heading after moving. If you only need to hear the previous sentence, switching to an earlier chapter takes you much further than necessary.
Avoid pressing the chapter control repeatedly just because you do not immediately hear sound. Check which chapter is selected, then press Play. Audio at the new location may need preparation, so silence alone does not show that the chapter selection failed.
Distinguish chapters from audio fragments
A chapter belongs to the structure of the extracted text. An audio fragment is a portion prepared for speech playback. One long chapter can contain several fragments, so reaching the end of a fragment does not necessarily mean you have reached another chapter.
If audio for your selection is not ready, press Play to start preparation. Listening can begin with the first prepared fragment. Further fragments are prepared as you listen; selecting a chapter does not mean the rest of the book has already been generated.
Check how the source file is organized
EPUB imports use spine reading order and headings in internal HTML documents. FB2 imports use the top-level sections of the main body, excluding notes and comments. TXT recognizes separate lines marked Chapter, Part, or their Russian equivalents, followed by a number or title.
PDF is processed page by page, so its divisions may resemble a conventional table of contents less closely. If a heading is missing, inspect the original file outside TGRadio. Import extracts existing text; it does not reconstruct the book's editorial structure from its meaning.
Confirm the passage by listening
Listen to the beginning of your chosen section. A matching title helps, but familiar opening sentences provide a better check. If the passage is further inside that chapter, move through prepared audio instead of switching chapters again.
If necessary, prepare clearer headings in the source text outside TGRadio and import the revised file. There is no built-in editor for this task. Keep the original entry until you have compared them, and do not assume your position will transfer to the new upload.
