Book narration skips paragraphs: what to check
If book narration skips paragraphs, locate the missing passage in the source you uploaded and compare the surrounding sentences. Check that exact file or page rather than another copy of the book. Next, establish whether the passage is available as text and whether it falls within the material that was imported.
Rule out differences between editions
Compare the title, translation, chapter contents and disputed passage. Complete and abridged editions can have similar covers but different wording. For example, a paragraph in a printed edition may be absent from the electronic edition you uploaded. Importing the same file again will not add it.
Write down the last sentence you heard before the apparent omission and the first sentence afterwards. These boundaries identify the passage even when page numbers differ between editions or devices.
Check whether the passage is available as text
In a PDF, try selecting the missing paragraph and copying it into an external text editor. If nothing is copied, or the words appear in a different order, the page’s appearance does not establish that its text can be extracted correctly. A single PDF may contain both text pages and scanned pages.
TGRadio does not perform OCR or recognize images and formulas. If the passage exists only as an image, prepare a text version outside the application or find an accessible textual source. Importing cannot recover words from that image.
Check the boundaries of the imported material
For a link import, check whether the paragraph is on the same page. The next chapter may open separately, or the continuation may sit behind pagination. Importing one page does not mean that every part of a book will be collected automatically.
FB2 notes and comments are excluded during import. A missing explanation stored there is a different case from an omitted main-text paragraph. In EPUB, inspect the spine order: a visible table of contents alone does not establish the content sequence.
Listen between two identifying sentences
Open the relevant part of the book and press Play. Listen from the last recognized sentence to the next one without changing chapters or devices. Importing extracts text first; audio preparation starts when playback is launched, and subsequent fragments are prepared as you listen.
Note whether the narration moves directly to the next sentence or playback simply stops. A stop does not by itself prove that a paragraph was lost. An exact account of the transition is more useful for support than a general report that the book is incomplete.
Repair the source or report a reproducible case
If the source lacks the passage, find a complete version you have the right to use, or amend your own text in an external editor. Upload the new file and check the affected passage. Preparing audio again cannot restore words missing from the extracted text.
If the paragraph is present as ordinary text in the exact source, tell support the format, chapter and sentences before and after the omission. Explain whether it belongs to the main text, a note or an image. Share only the material needed for the check, and retain your original copy separately.
