How to save one audiobook chapter offline in TGRadio

To save an audiobook chapter offline, open it on the device you will use while connected and choose Save chapter offline. The button prepares missing fragments in sequence, downloads them, and saves them; you do not need to press Play first. Wait for completion without errors or cancellation. Before disconnecting, check the result in Offline library, including parts near the chapter’s end.

Choose the chapter and listening device

Open Books in the browser or Mini App you intend to use without a connection. Find the book and the required chapter. Saving on a computer does not automatically prepare your phone, even if both devices use the same profile and share a listening position.

Check the selected chapter’s title and boundaries against the available text. For example, you may need the next chapter for a journey rather than the one where playback stopped. Confirm this before saving: having an adjacent part available will not let you hear the intended passage offline.

Start preparing the version you need

Choose a voice and press Play with an active internet connection. Importing a book only extracts text; it does not create audio in advance. Listening can begin with the first ready fragment, while later fragments are prepared as you listen. Do not expect the entire chapter to be voiced automatically after import.

Hearing the opening confirms that the opening is ready, not that every later part is prepared. A complete chapter requires prepared fragments throughout. Keep the same voice before checking your download: another voice needs a new audio version. Changing playback speed does not require new speech generation.

Use the chapter saving button

Press Save chapter offline and let the available download finish. Keep your connection active during saving. Pressing the button is not the completed result: audio must both exist and reach local storage on this device.

If you need to interrupt the transfer, use Stop download. After stopping, do not assume the whole chapter is available. Check the saved parts and what remains separately. If saving encounters difficulty, inspect free space through your device’s settings without clearing TGRadio’s storage to make room.

Test the chapter without a connection

Open Offline library on the same device. Temporarily disconnect from the internet and start the required chapter. Check more than its first words, including available parts further into the chapter. One fragment playing successfully does not confirm that the rest has been saved.

If a required part does not play, reconnect before travelling and use Save chapter offline again. The button prepares missing audio and saves it; wait for completion without errors or cancellation. An unprepared fragment cannot be obtained without a connection. Seeing a chapter title in the library does not mean missing audio will arrive after you disconnect.

Keep the local copy until you listen

After a successful test, avoid signing out or clearing browser storage: either action removes local audio. If you do either, repeat the saving and testing process while a connection is available. The position shared through your profile does not automatically restore downloads.

Before leaving, open Offline library once more using the same access method you will use while travelling. Saving provides access inside the application rather than an MP3 file. If the next chapter has not been saved, connect and use Save chapter offline for it, or save the whole book, and wait for completion.
