How to save an entire audiobook offline on your device
To save an entire audiobook offline, use Save book offline on your listening device while connected. The button prepares missing audio fragments in sequence, downloads them, and saves every part of the book. You do not need to listen through the chapters first. For a complete copy, allow enough storage and wait for completion without errors or cancellation. Check playback without a connection, including chapters you have not reached yet.
Check whether the whole book has audio
A fully imported text alone is not ready for offline listening: importing does not generate audio. After you choose a voice and press Play, audio is prepared in fragments for online listening. Save book offline also prepares audio: while connected, it generates missing fragments and saves every part. You do not need to listen through the remaining chapters first.
For example, if you have only listened to the first chapter, do not assume the others are voiced. Open the chapters you need and check their fragments with a working connection. A complete copy requires prepared audio throughout the book, rather than just each chapter’s opening. There is no fixed preparation time.
Choose your voice before a large download
Save the version you intend to hear. Changing the voice requires new audio preparation, so one version being ready does not establish that another is ready. If you are comparing options, finish choosing before saving a large amount so you do not need to recheck the book after a change.
Playback speed can change without generating new speech. Moving from normal speed to a faster setting does not require another voice version. Speech generation and repeat listening are free, with no monthly character limit, but technical preparation and local saving are still necessary.
Check storage and start saving the book
Inspect free space in your device settings. The original book file’s size does not indicate how much space its audio will need: text and sound occupy different amounts. Do not treat the document upload size limit as an estimate for the offline copy.
With the book open, press Save book offline and keep the connection active until downloading finishes. Watch the available operation status. If you need to interrupt it, press Stop download. After interruption, the whole book cannot be considered saved, even if some chapters already open without a connection.
Test chapters from different parts of the book
Open Offline library on the same device and temporarily disconnect from the internet. Check the opening, several later chapters, and the final part you need. Within each chapter, check fragments beyond its opening: a ready introduction does not establish that the chapter is complete.
This sampling helps reveal gaps but does not prove that every fragment is present. Consider it alongside completion of Save book offline without errors or cancellation: the button prepares and saves every part. If an important part will not play, reconnect, repeat saving, and check the result before the period when you will have no connection.
Account for the limits of local saving
The offline copy stays inside the application on the selected device. Signing into the same Telegram account on another phone does not transfer downloaded audio. The second device needs its own saving and testing, even though your library and listening position are available through the shared profile.
Avoid signing out or clearing browser storage before offline listening: local audio will be removed. Saving a book does not create an MP3 or M4B file for another player. If you change devices or access environments after testing, prepare and check a local copy there again.
