Books after signing out: what needs saving again

Signing out removes locally stored offline audio. Your personal library and listening position belong to your profile, so sign in with the same Telegram account to continue using them. Signing in on another device does not transfer downloads. Save the parts you need again on the device you will actually use without a connection.

Separate your library from downloaded audio

A book in your personal library and its offline copy serve different purposes. The library belongs to your profile. Local audio is stored on the particular device and in the environment where you saved it. Seeing a book title in a list does not confirm that it is ready for offline listening.

For example, you might open the same book on your phone after listening on a computer. Your profile provides the listening position, but fragments saved on the computer do not become phone downloads. Prepare the phone separately before a journey without internet access.

Consider your next listening session before signing out

If you will soon need offline access, account for local audio being removed when you sign out. After signing back in, you will need a connection to save it again. Do not expect to sign out before travelling and then open a previously downloaded chapter without connectivity.

Before leaving the account, note the book title and your place as a reference for checking later. This does not replace the position stored in your profile, but it helps confirm that you have returned to the intended book. Also consider whether a connection will be available before you need to download again.

Return using the same Telegram account

Use the same Telegram account for the shared library in the browser and Mini App. A different account means a different profile. If familiar books seem absent after signing in, check the account you selected before importing all your files again.

For browser sign-in, confirm the request in the bot only when the codes match. You do not give TGRadio your Telegram password. Once signed in, open Books, find the title, and check the continuation position. An empty offline library does not establish that your personal library has disappeared.

Prepare the new device separately

Connect the new device to the internet and open the book. Use Save chapter offline or Save book offline according to how much material you need. The button prepares missing fragments in sequence, downloads them, and saves them locally. Wait for completion: having the entire book’s text alone does not mean all its audio is saved.

Open Offline library on the new device and test the required part without a connection. If you plan to listen through the Mini App, test that access method. A successful check in another browser does not confirm that local audio is also available in this environment.

Account for cleared browser storage

Clearing browser storage also removes local audio. Save the chapters you need again after clearing it, even if you did not deliberately sign out. Restoring online listening and rebuilding an offline copy require different checks.

If a book is missing after you sign in with the same account, record where you previously opened it: the browser or Mini App. Give support the title and describe what you can see. Avoid clearing remaining storage to recover the book; clearing removes local data rather than moving it between devices.
